Formerly known as ‘The Mayor of Newham Trust’, the object of the charity is, for the public benefit, to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area in such charitable ways as the trustees think fit (including the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities not required to be funded by the local authority).
