The Newham Community and Police Forum (NCPF) is a statutory body and is independent, voluntary and non political.
The NCPF is a Forum that aims to provide an environment for effective consultation between the community and the police about strategic and borough wide policing, crime and community safety issues. Senior police officers councillors attend the meetings while other members are nominated from bodies with a close interest in the police and justice system, such as the Race Equality in Newham (REIN) group and Victim Support. Other representatives are sought from faith and equality groups, Safer Neighbourhood Panels and other bona fide community groups.
